We want to be a community that is Christ-Centred, Spirit-Filled and Demonstrates God's Grace
CHRIST CENTRED
We want to be a community that has “JESUS in Big Letters” at the heart of what we do and what we believe. In essence, this means that we will always try to put the message and ministry of Jesus first in what we say and what we do – we’re bound to get it wrong occasionally, but we will try to understand and represent the teaching, ministry, person and presence of Jesus in our lives and in the lives of others in the most generous, gracious way we can.
SPIRIT FILLED
We are a community that tries to show that the Holy Spirit is living and active today, and is expressed through the worship, prayer, ministries and works of God's people, the church.
We try to make room for expressions of the Holy Spirit in our worship and in our prayer times; we want to be open to reflect and respond as individuals and as a community to what the Holy Spirit is doing.
DEMONSTRATING GOD'S GRACE
We recognise that we are all recipients of God’s Grace – and we hope to show that same Grace to everyone connected our community. We see Grace as a freely given gift, we see it as an empowering presence and we try to work alongside God’s grace to bring hope, peace and healing to members of the community and to the wider communities we are linked with.
We want to be a Gracious space, welcoming all and pointing them towards Jesus.
